I adore my Luna and so does my son! We have been exclusively breastfeeding for 3 months now (time does fly!) and I have had this pillow for all but two weeks of it.(I bought mine from a local store and it came with an orange slipcover -my favorite color!- If you don't like the colors on Amazon, check out the Bosom Baby website, they have a ton more colors.)
Before that I had a BOOPY which I didn't like for several reasons. It quickly begins to lose shape and isn't as stable, the cover is harder to remove and wash, as it lost its shape it began to hurt my back. It was also quite cumbersome to use in a chair with arms (like my rocking chair - and at a size 4 - not a big person!) I felt crushed in the chair with it.
The Luna on the other hand:
- the cover is secure but slips off easily for laundering
- the cover is also super soft fabric that my baby loves rubbing up against
- it hasn't lost its shape at all in almost 3 months and I use it many times a day
- it is a curved L shape so it fits snuggly beside me in my chair (and any other chair from kitchen to camping) without making me feel cramped
- it supports my arms really well, as well as my baby of course!
I completely recommend this pillow, it costs a little more then others but it is really worth every extra cent.
