In this case, as I found with many "organic" nursing pillows, only the cover was organic! The filling material is NOT. I ended up getting a fabulous "Nesting Pillow" from Blessed Nest. It is a wonderful size, unique and versitile shape, and is filled with 100% organic buckwheat hulls. And it has a 100% organic cover as well. If you are looking for a truly organic product then steer clear of this.

I got this pillow a couple weeks after my daughter was born as I was gettinghorrible back pains from trying to hold her with my arms or use regular pillows to prop her up and it was great - for about two months. Now it's lost it's firmness and she sinks into the middle. The stuffing has shifted around. Also, maybe its because I never bought a cover for it, but you have to wear clothes while using this pillow. Getting up in the middle of the night in just underwear and t-shirt and trying to nurse just results in the pillow sliding down my lap.

I am a new mom with a 2 month old and am really trying to get my breastfeeding ritual to be as comfortable as possible.I discovered these while searching for techniques for large breasted women.If you have large boobies that you have to hold to feel comfortable while feeding... this product will not only make you feel more comfortable but will give you an extra hand free.My only advice is that the sizing chart is accurate... don't go for a larger pillow just because you want to be cautious.I did and a slightly smaller one would be better.I'm really a DD but I went one size up... go for your size during pregnancy.

Nice a soft, just seems to be filled with batting so not the best of quality but still nice. Beware the dots are different in color than you see online. The orange is more of a light brown and the bright green is more of a bright yellow. We still like it though and are keeping it.

Review of My Brest Friend Pink Stripe Pillow

When I think of a cleverly designed product, "My Brest Friend" pillow comes to mind.

I started using this when my Baby was just a few weeks old. Before this, I propped my newborn up with standard pillows all around me - ok but a lot of hassle. Then I tried the boppy pillow - this did not work for me. My newborn would just roll into the gap between the pillow and my belly. The pillow detached too easily. Finally, Hubby searched the internet and found this pillow with a funny name. When I used "My Brest Friend" for the first time, it was like taking the epidural for my labour: Total relief!

I was thrilled with this pillow. My baby is now a 13-month-old toddler and I still use it when I can. She is 90th percentile for her height but the pillow still works!

Here are some reasons why I like the pillow:
- Strap to hold it in place. Take that, Boppy pillow! You can even get up and move around if you are careful.
- Strap is a click buckle which does not wake a sleeping baby. Velcro would have been a bad idea.
- Back support - feels great on the back.
- Contour on the front to follow the curve of baby's head.
- Pocket at the front. I just love love love this feature. It is placed just where I want it to. In this pocket, I have baby nail scissors, iPod touch for surfing the web and some tissues.
- The pillow is made of light foam but firm

Cons
- The name "My Brest Friend". It discourages me from telling others or talking about it. Every time I mention the name, the other person looks at me strangely and laughs.

Conclusion
- Absolutely highly recommended.

Review of Cotton Tale Designs She Loves Me Pillow Pack

I bought the entire "She Loves Me" set (which was purple chenille with beautiful butterflies and caterpillars and flowers made in gorgeous cotton print appliqued quilted fabrics.) The first set of crib bumpers completely fell apart on the first wash in cold water, gentle cycle. After some discussion with the manufacturer, I was sent a replacement set with a semi-"nasty gram" note, saying failure to wash as instructed would eliminate any duty to replace the items on their part. Since I did wash it exactly as instructed by their typed-up note (which contradicts the instructions on the packaging), I was a bit put off by said note.Today, I washed the replacement crib bumpers for the fourth time IN A YEAR and guess what? They completely came apart at the seams AGAIN, just like the last set. Even the lamp from the set arrived bent, scratched and dirty, the hamper frame was scratched and even smashed on one of the legs, and the mobile (again, appliqued quilted flowers) began to come apart within two months of hanging it up. The flowers were not sewn together but simply GLUED. Cotton Tale does not deserve the positive review it received from Baby Bargains. The stuff is beautiful, but sadly, it is cheaply made crap from China at a made-in-America price. Don't waste your time, energy or money on this stuff.

My father bought this for my son when he was six months old. It was the first pillow my son ever slept with. I cannot describe how attached my son is to this pillow. He still has to sleep with it for naps and at bedtime one and a half years later. It's soft, easy to clean and the ideal thickness for his little head. The only thing I dislike is that the velcro tends to catch the inner fabric and it has shredded somewhat, but who knows if this is actually caused by rough love. I stitched it up and it's been fine since. My sister received the rabbit pillow for her daughter (now three) and she likes hers as well. My parents ended up purchasing a "back up" elephant for their home to avoid the panicked cries at nap time: "Grandpa, we forgot Elephant at home!"

I bought the toy as a gift to my little sister. She absolutely loves it! It's very cute, and likes how you can make it into a blanket, stuffed animal, or pillow. However, I had problems with the company and shipping, and after giving them (what I consider) a fair review, they sent me an emailpractically saying the fault was on me and not them (I ordered other products the same day from other companies and didn't have a shipping problem). The pillow is stuffed with a very snuggly fleece blanket. The blanket pulls right out by opening a durable zipper along the animal's bottom.

The blanket is surprisingly as large as it is soft, measuring 30 by 60 inches. It pretty easily folds back into the animal.

And, don't worry about losing the blanket. One end is attached to the Zoobie with a zipper. This keeps the two pieces together, except when it comes time to wash-- and then simply unzip the connector and throw the blanket into a washing machine. Dry it, and then zip it back together!

Review of Kiddopotamus SwaddleMe 100% Cotton Knit Small

First off, I really love this product.It's the quickest, easiest way to swaddle my baby girl, who sleeps much better at night when she's securely wrapped up.We went with this kind of swaddle over a blanket because she has been a "mobile sleeper" since birth, and always managed to wriggle out of our blanket swaddle.Note that these notes below pertain to the small size.

Now - here's what you need to know about sizing, based on my three months of experience and multiple attempts to get it right.
- There are three kinds of swaddle fabrics at the time I'm writing this:
1. Flannel (in the gingham prints)
2. Fleece
3. Cotton jersey (like a t-shirt).This variety has the most options in terms of patterns and colors.

I've arranged them in that order because that's the order of smallest to largest.The flannel variety stretches, well, not at all. It's the smallest of the three types of fabrics, therefore, in terms of fit.(My daughter outgrew her small size swaddle at 13 pounds, after washing it a few times - even though it's supposed to fit up to 14.)The fleece variety does stretch a bit - she's now 15 pounds and this still fits her.

The cotton variety is the stretchiest one - and it REALLY stretches.The first time after I wash and dry it, it's pretty snug.But if I'm lucky enough to get 2 or 3 nights of use out of it, by the third night it's considerably bigger than it was.I just bought another small cotton one and my baby's 15 pounds.

What's more, I just bought a flannel gingham swaddle in large, and that fits her great.(But the cotton variety in large was HUGE and I'm returning it.)Anyway - hope this is helpful to all of you out there.This is a great product and I wish you luck!

We first got one of these to help with reflux. It worked wonderfully! With our next newborn, we were told to use this for the baby to sleep on when congested. Works like a charm.

Not sure what another poster was talking about with a zipper. We have these in every baby bed and none have a zipper, all are one piece of foam enclosed in vinyl with non-skid backing (just like the product description tells you).

I got this shortly after I became too big to sleep on my stomach (which was what I mostly did) and could not get comfortable with plain old pillows (had lower back pains, couldn't get comfy, etc.).I slept 1000% better the very first night my pillow arrived!The following are the only reasons I did not rate this 5 stars:
I wake up every time I want to turn over because I have to totally reposition the pillow between my legs (not a big deal because I am still sleeping better than before).
It's really not ideal for a smaller-than-queen-size bed unless you sleep alone.
I think it would take a miracle for a pregnant woman to sleep completely soundly through the night, and, as far as I know, a miracle hasn't been invented yet!
Overall, I absolutely recommend that every expecting mother has one of these pillows!

I love this baby set!! When I saw the design of this collection I was so excited becasue it was so unique and original. Review of Luna Lullaby Bosom Baby Nursing Pillow Sage Fuzzy Dot

I adore my Luna and so does my son! We have been exclusively breastfeeding for 3 months now (time does fly!) and I have had this pillow for all but two weeks of it.

(I bought mine from a local store and it came with an orange slipcover -my favorite color!- If you don't like the colors on Amazon, check out the Bosom Baby website, they have a ton more colors.)

Before that I had a BOOPY which I didn't like for several reasons. It quickly begins to lose shape and isn't as stable, the cover is harder to remove and wash, as it lost its shape it began to hurt my back. It was also quite cumbersome to use in a chair with arms (like my rocking chair - and at a size 4 - not a big person!) I felt crushed in the chair with it.

The Luna on the other hand:
- the cover is secure but slips off easily for laundering
- the cover is also super soft fabric that my baby loves rubbing up against
- it hasn't lost its shape at all in almost 3 months and I use it many times a day
- it is a curved L shape so it fits snuggly beside me in my chair (and any other chair from kitchen to camping) without making me feel cramped
- it supports my arms really well, as well as my baby of course!

I completely recommend this pillow, it costs a little more then others but it is really worth every extra cent.

The Toddler Coddler is a great product.The only problem that I found with it is that when I put my carseat in the middle of the back seat (the safest place), I don't have a headrest...so there is nowhere to attach it. However I remedied this problem by attaching it directly to the carseat. I just wrapped it through the seatbelt holder on the sides of the car seat and clipped it together in the back. It doesn't interfer with the safety of the car seat at all. It also enabled my son to reach the pillows whengets tired. Which is nice, because otherwise I would have to stop the car and get him set up. I also love the fact that it is machine washable!! It keeps his head propped up perfectly and he looks sooo much more comfortabe. I would definitly recommend this product. I love it!

I never write product reviews online, but I want all pregnant women considering this product to just bite the bullet and buy it.I was very apprehensive about such a weird looking pillow creature sharing our bed, but I shouldn't have been - it's great.There are several choices to make regarding filler and size once you've honed in on this particular pillow.I bought the expensive goose down full length pillow, and I'm glad I did.I know it's expensive, but my sleep is too important to skimp on.I was worried that the down pillow might be too soft, as many down pillows are quite flat, but it is very full and more supportive than I ever figured down could be.

My husband and I sleep in a queen size bed, and I was concerned about how this pillow would fit in our bed.While it is rather large, it hasn't been a problem.I don't seem to take up any more room curled up with the snoozer than I do just side sleeping with my knees bent.He doesn't mind it, anyway.And, I love it!I figured when I bought this pillow that I'd continue using my tempurpedic pillow for my head, but the snoozer is so comfy that the tempurpedic has been kicked out of the bed.

To my surprise, I've found that I also really love using this pillow to prop myself up to read in bed.Curled into a "U" shape behind me, it provides great armrests as well as really nice support.As this will be my first child, I don't know about breastfeeding yet, but I imagine this pillow will be great for that, too.

I bought this pillow when I was about 4 1/2 months pregnant (before I probably really needed it), and now that I'm at 6 months, I am SO glad to have it.And, I really doubt that I'll stop using it once I deliver the baby.Pregnant or not, I really like the support between my knees and under my side to keep my from rolling over onto my belly.

Bottom line - just buy it!I really doubt you'll be sorry.

I was so excited to get this slip cover, so I could quit using blankets to pretect my daughters lounger from spit up, droll, poo explosions, and all that other fun stuff we mothers go through.Anyways, this has not let me down.I have washed it a few times and it has not shrunk and has stood up very well.The material is very soft not like your typical scratchy cotton covers bopppy has, but much thicker and much more soft. I would not recommend buying the lounger without one of these covers....they are a must!!

I love this pillow. Baby snuggles, no fear of daddy or big brother (when he sneaks in the bed) rolling over too far. Perfect allignment for nursing, and baby is safe from getting trapped somewhere or squirming away and getting into trouble. Light is a little dim-new mommies might still need a brighter one until they are more used to nursing, but after a few weeks it will be bright enough. OK, I have two nesting pillows and I can honestly say that they are the most used baby items I own.My son is now 19 months old and we still use it everyday!When he was born I used it to nurse him comfortably but we still used it when we switched to bottles.My husband was so nervous about holding him when he was born but using the nesting pillow while feeding him gave him the confidence he needed.Now my son uses it to lay on when we change his diaper and he sleeps with it when he has a cold because it props his head up comfortably.If my husband or I are sitting on the floor and we want to lay our heads on it our son pushes us off "his pillow".Even though we have two I think we'll have to get another one when we have a second child because my son probably won't be willing to give either one of them up.

Review of Boppy 2 Sided Signature Slipcover

Our future son's nursery is sage green, so I debated between getting this toile Boppy cover or the balboa cover as the new "soft" cover to add to our collection (we have millions of cotton Boppy covers and LOVE THEM!) However, when it arrived today, I was greatly disappointed at how only the top side is the soft material and the bottom is the regular cotton. I knew it was reversible- but the picture makes it look like the cotton-print side in on the INSIDE (and can be reversed if wanted), not on the bottom as it really is.
